Since coming to Linfield College in 2009, I have taught the introductory in mass communication, and courses in electronic media production, electronic media writing, mass communication ethics and mass communication history, I taught in the Communications Studies department at Furman University from 2007 to 2009. As a graduate student, I taught a variety of courses in in School of Journalism and Communication at The University of Oregon. At KAOS Community Radio, I taught the principles and practices of radio programming and production to thousands of students and community volunteers. I also taught media production workshops at The Evergreen State College.
My courses at Linfield include Mass Communication History, Mass Communication Ethics, Topics in Media Production (Audio, Video, Interactive Multimedia), Electronic Media Practices, Electronic Media Writing, Living in a Media World and Senior Capstone. I also teach the Rock’n’Roll course in the Inquiry Seminar.
